CHECKING OUT MATERIALS
The following guidelines apply to students checking out materials:
1. Books are checked out for a
two week time period with 1
renewal possible.
2. 4 books may be checked out at a time.
3. If a student loses a book, he/she will be charged
replacement costs.
4. If a student pays for a lost book and it is returned in good
condition before the end of the current school year, a refund
will be made through the Business Office if the original
receipt is presented.
5. Magazines and periodicals in the library are available for
checkout.
6. Students must pay for all fines and lost books before checking
out more materials. Fines are $.05 per day per book but not to
exceed $5.00 per book.
7. Students must present a valid Andress High School ID card to
check out books.
8. Reference books are not available for checkout. They must be
used in the library.
9. EPISD policy for using electronic media states that users must
maintain strict compliance with all ethical and legal regulations
and rules. Students violating these rules may have access
revoked and may be subject to school discipline or legal
actions.
